DR. DIESEL is formulated and blended to eliminate the common
problems associated with diesel fuel. This is accomplished by
blending solvent refined neutrals with additives which will control
low temperature fluidity, improve diesel combustion, impart
water/moisture protection, prevent deposits of fuel gums and increase
long term fuel storage stability. DR. DIESEL will improve
any No. 2 diesel fuel and the operation of diesel powered
equipment. It is accomplished by utilizing:
1) An antiwear (lubricity) addditive to protect fuel pumps and
injectors from the effects of low-sulfur fuel use.
2) A flow improver which modifies the wax crystals so that
low temperature flow and filter plugging problems are
prevented.
3) A diesel ignition improver which raises the cetane
performance of the fuel, resulting in easier starts and
better operation. When diesel-powered equipment starts
easier and gets better (more complete) combustion, then
maintenance and fuel costs are automatically reduced.
4) An anti oxidant which improves the stability and quality of
the fuel during storage and retards the deterioration that
can occur during long term storage.
5) A gum dispersant that prevents deposits of insoluble gums
in the fuel systems and on internal parts, particularly
diesel injectors.
6) A moisture displacing corrosion inhibitor that protects fuel
storage tanks and engine fuel system components from rust
and corrosion damage, especially diesel injectors.
For normal operating conditions, use 1 gallon of DR. DIESEL per
1000 gallons of fuel in storage. For winter operation, use 1 gallon
of DR. DIESEL per 500 gallons of fuel in storage. DR. DIESEL
is formulated and registered to comply with EPA regulations.
